Zoho iPhone app lets you access docs on your phone

Zoho, the online suite of business tools released their latest tool this week, Zoho Docs for iPhone, which provides a way to access your documents from your iPhone. Although Zoho has had iPhone integration for a number of years, the company says this is the first application that lets you see all of your documents in their native applications on the phone.

Supported documents includes documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images and .pdfs created with Zoho's Zoho Writer, Sheet, Show or Docs applications. The product also includes a search tool to help you find your documents more easily and a tool for uploading images into a Zoho Doc. Zoho's goal was to keep things simple in this release and as a result there is no editing capability built-in, but the company made clear they will be adding to this in the future.

In comments on the blog post, the company also indicated that the iPhone app should work on the iPad too, although if it hasn't been tuned for the iPad, it tends to get pixelized when you switch to full-screen view. Zoho also indicated that there are future plans for an Android version of the application.

The application is free and available in the App Store now.
