Spotlight: Startup creates tool to give publications automated context

Started by former Wired editor

Former Wired editor Ryan Singel recently announced that he was leaving Wired to start a new company called Contextly. The goal of the startup is to help journalists and publications find context in the form of links to related to stories with the goal of keeping users engaged and on your site, beyond the initial reason for the visit to read a particular piece of content. The tool is available as a WordPress plug-in, but there are plans to expand beyond WordPress down the road. For more information, you can read Singel's blog post on Contextly.
