Microsoft Releases Office 2010 Technical Preview

Most people use Microsoft Office to generate content. This week, Microsoft released a technical preview of its upcoming desktop version of Office 2010. The much-anticipated free online version of Office 2010 won't be available until sometime later in the year. Among interesting new features for enterprise users are live document editing by multiple authors and a feature called Backstage Pass that provides a central place to deal with document metadata, printing and production. Ironically, Office 2010 reportedly won't be available for sale until some time in 2011. Press release
