Spotlight: Kevin Cochrane joins OpenText as CMO

OpenText announced this week that it has hired Kevin Cochrane to be its Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining OpenText, he was VP of product marketing for Adobe's (NASDAQ: ADBE) Digital Marketing unit, and before that he was CMO at Day Software (which Adobe purchased in August 2010). Cochrane has 16 years of experience in the content management industry, and it should be interesting to see how he applies his knowledge to a more traditional enterprise content management vendor like OpenText.
