SharePoint flexes its muscles at AIIM/info360 2011
Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) SharePoint continues to have a strong influence across content management. While many have mixed feelings about it, you can't argue with the impact it has on the industry. Even the biggest players find ways to integrate with SharePoint and it has created a whole ecosystem of partners and consultants who can provide additional functionality or customization.
As with last year, SharePoint has a huge presence at AIIM/info360. There is a whole track devoted to SharePoint 2010 and you can learn about it from a variety of angles including information management, DoD compliance, social computing, email management and much, much more.
Here are some highlights you might not want to miss if you want to learn more about SharePoint from industry experts:
- Check out Ryan Duguid, SharePoint's senior product manager on Tuesday at 10:30 for a session on building effective information management strategies in SharePoint.
- Don't miss Microsoft Director of Social Software, Christian Finn who delivers a morning keynote on Wednesday at 8:45 on "Connecting the Enterprise: Content is not Enough."
- If you're concerned about governance in SharePoint, see Russ Edelman, who is president and CEO at Corridor Consulting discussing "SharePoint Governance Strategies that Work." He'll be speaking Wednesday at 2:40.
- Finally, check out the SharePoint 2010 Roundtable: Ask the Experts session on Thursday at 10:20.
