RockMelt social browser launches in Beta
Just in case we needed another browser, RockMelt, which builds itself as a social browser, launched in Beta this week. The idea according to the "Welcome" blog post is to build "your world right into the browser." They claim to make socializing and sharing a simpler experience. The new browser is built on top of Chromium, the Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) open source tool used to create Google Chrome. If they can deliver, it would be an interesting addition to the browser arsenal and there's always room for one more. For more information, see the RockMelt blog post.
