Pegasystems brings BPM to marketing with new Unified Marketing package
Last week Pegasystems announced a new Business Process Management (BPM) solution for marketers they call Unified Marketing.
As the industry shifts to an analytics-driven marketing approach, this package adds BPM to the mix, providing marketing pros with suggestions for the next best action based on where the customer may be in the selling cycle.
For instance, one customer may need a retention email, while another might require an upsell phone call. Obviously knowing when to deliver these very different marketing strategies is critical to a marketing pro and this solution apparently takes the guess work out of the process.
In addition, the package makes it easier to deliver content across a variety of delivery channels in both social media marketing or more traditional approaches (or a combination of the two).
What's more, the chief marketing officer can see exactly what the staff is engaged in at any given time providing a high-level view of the marketing department.
Grant Johnson, who is CMO at Pegasystems (and can therefore probably relate quite well to his target market) says CMOs are under extreme pressure to bolster marketing's contribution and deliver a better return on investment and this solution provides the tools they need to do that.
"Simply automating outbound marketing is no longer sufficient in today's customer-driven world. To succeed, marketers must deliver a high volume of intelligent and customer-centric messages across all channels, including inbound and outbound," Johnson said.
The solution is available now in on-premise or cloud versions.
