New Google Labs tool lets you search mail and apps

Last week, Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) announced a new feature in Google Labs that enables you to search both email and your Google Docs documents in a single search. The idea is if you are looking for something and you can't remember if it's attached to an email or in your documents repository, you can search across both simultaneously. It's not earth shattering, but it's a nice addition for people who use both Google Docs and Gmail and can now search across both as a single store.
