Microsoft plans to commercialize OfficeTalk
Mary Jo Foley, who writes extensively about Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) for ZDNet reported last week, that OfficeTalk--Microsoft's experimental microblogging tool (think Twitter for the enterprise)--may soon be a commercial product. Foley reports that Microsoft has indicated it's time for OfficeTalk to leave the lab and be handed off to product groups. She doesn't say how it will be used, but it would certainly make sense as part of SharePoint and Office. For more information, see the Foley's blog post on ZDNet.
