Mashery launches API analytics tool


This week Mashery launched an analytics tool to help measure the effectiveness of APIs. I wrote an Editor's Corner in October about the growing role of APIs in moving content, especially on phone apps where there is a danger of these applications becoming content silos. APIs give content owners the ability to share content between applications. Mashery's analytics tool helps measure the movement of data and content through these API channels, data that might be otherwise be difficult to track effectively.
