Hyland Software released OnBase 11.0 July 11, the latest iteration of its enterprise content management software, adding more than 1,800 features and enhancements. Noteworthy additions in this version include intelligent indexing and automated redaction, as well as data-level integration with Lawson, PeopleSoft and Datatel.

"Organizations depend on technology to work how they work, when they need it," noted Bill Filion, vice president of development at Hyland, in a statement. As such, OnBase now allows users to view documents and execute workflows in a native smartphone and tablet environment, through their BlackBerry, Windows Phone, iPhone or iPad.
