eZ Publish releases 4.3 with Teamroom

eZ Publish released version 4.3 recently with a bunch of new updates. The new version includes a new administrative interface with a dashboard where administrators can view the state of the system and react to changes and requirements. eZ has carefully redesigned the functionality using Ajax programming that reduces the number of full page refreshes required to complete a task.

In addition, the new version boasts Teamroom, a collaboration environment for eZ Publish users. They see it as a way for users to share information and build projects within the eZ Publish system. They have also added a sophisticated commenting system for user-generated content that pushes notification of commenting activity.

eZ also announced they were working on a number of extensions including a CMIS client that would enable users to access other content repositories from within the eZ Publish tool.

The upgrade is available immediately.
