CrownPeak introduces new Landing Page Manager

Today, CrownPeak announced it was releasing a brand new product called Landing Page Manager developed to help marketing personnel create landing pages for tracking marketing campaigns. The product should enable marketing management to get a handle on the ROI of various marketing campaigns and measure how effective they are. What's more the new product can link to CRM tools including Salesforce.com enabling marketing to export qualified leads automatically to sales staff without leaving the program.

CrownPeak CEO Jim Howard points out that in today's tough economy, having tools to drive traffic to websites and measure success is more important than ever. "In today’s economy, marketers are expected to maximize and prove even greater value from these platforms--all on a strained marketing budget. With CrownPeak LPM, we are giving marketers all of the tools they need to manage campaigns and drive revenue, so they focus their efforts on creativity and content.”

CrownPeak provides their product as Software as a Service, so companies can use the product without investing in hardware, making implementation cheaper. This type of product is not new, however. Marqui, a Vancouver-based company has offered a similar product delivered as SaaS for some time. These types of tools can help a marketing team build landing pages and track success or failure quickly and easily.

It was only a matter of time before CrownPeak and other SaaS-based CMS vendors added a marketing automation component to their suite. It really is a natural progression in my opinion. Think about it, in most cases you are selling to the Marketing dept who is managing everything from web content to campaigns and in most cases you are re-purposing web content across your campaigns. So why would a marketer want to use two solutions? You wouldn't. More importantly if you've tied your CMS' form manager into a CRM like Salesforce.com for lead capture, the last thing a sales or marketing team will want is 2 out of sync DB's. So by CrownPeak adding this, they have created a more compelling offer for their prospects/customers. Let's also not forget the added attractiveness this will have for all of their Agency partners.

In the conversations I've had with our customers/partners at Oshyn, it is definitely a topic that has come up numerous times and it's nice to see that a company like CrownPeak has recognized this as well.
