CrownPeak gets social media hub

CrownPeak announced a new social dashboard this week to help marketing professionals coordinate and manage social marketing programs across public sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, and back to a landing page on the company website. This product should work well in conjunction with the Landing Page Manager CrownPeak launched in February.

CrownPeak was smart to recognize a market need. Many companies are getting into social marketing, but are unsure of how to measure and track success. That's one of the reasons, CrownPeak CEO Jim Howard says, his company developed the product. "It's no secret that social media has seen explosive growth and companies are embracing these technologies to reach target audiences," Howard said. "Managing, measuring and optimizing marketing content from a central hub is a huge priority for today's online marketer. We've enabled companies to leverage that central platform to join conversations happening within the social networks."

The product comes at a time when many companies are recognizing the power of social networking and looking for ways to build social media into their marketing campaigns. Susan Scarth, vice president of marketing for Demandbase says this technology has come along at a good time for her company. "Social media has been a huge benefit for our online marketing and search engine optimization efforts and combining these efforts with our central web content production and management strategies makes perfect sense," she said.

CrownPeak is announcing the product at this week's Inbound Marketing Summit in San Francisco.
