Clickability launches enterprise SaaS WCM platform

Clickability launched a new business platform this week, the latest version of their web-based, SaaS web content management tools. The newest version features mobile device delivery, integration with other business tools in the enterprise and global brand management.

Content developers can write once and deliver to the mobile platform and the web. With this release, it supported the widely used BlackBerry with support for the iPhone due in spring. This was a major piece of the release because Clickability recognized that an increasing number of users are accessing websites from mobile devices.

“Regardless of the device, global access to your company Intranet or company support portal is a key business value. In today’s mobile-driven environment, you must enable your customers to directly access your website from any location in the world, on any device,” said Clickability CEO John Girard.

Clickability also recognized that companies need to be able to link the web content management systems with other internal company systems. The new version includes integration with Salesforce.com (building a link between CRM and CM), as well as other systems including Ominture, SpringCM and Google (to name but a few).

Finally, Clickability provides a central web-based tool for managing sites in multiple languages. With this new version, Clickability wants to be the web content management tool across the entire enterprise, scaling to meet the needs of the enterprise and providing the tools for global companies to deliver content from anywhere to any device. As a SaaS tool, it also provides these services without having to install hardware to get going.
