Box.net teams up with Internet2 to deliver Box services to colleges
This week Box.net announced it was teaming up with the Internet2 Networking Consortium to deliver Box.net storage and collaboration services to colleges and universities who are part of this consortium. Among the early adopters are Cornell University; University of California, Berkley; and the University of Michigan. Member institutions will get Box services as part their annual membership fee, giving college students and staff at these institutions access to Box, a strategy that could allow Box to capture student loyalty before they go into the workforce. For more information, see the Box press release.
