Asus joins the eBook reader fray
Last week Asus announced a new 9 inch, pencil thin, eBook reader, putting it in direct competition with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Sony and others in this growing market. The size is a surprise, which is closer to an iPad than most eBook readers, which tend to be smaller. It has 2GB of internal memory and an SD Card slot so you can expand it. While it only has a black and white display, it does boast new iPix electrophoretic technology, which means it should be a more comfortable reading experience in various settings.
