Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform incorporates customer experience management
This week Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE) announced the release of its long-awaited Digital Enterprise Platform, which incorporates Adobe Day content management software, Omniture content analytics and a suite of other familiar Adobe tools with the goal of providing a comprehensive customer experience management platform for marketers.
The suite aims to be a complete workflow solution for marketers with integrated content review for the content creation cycle, web experience management to attract customers to the company website, customizable web experiences and customer communications to keep in touch and get feedback.
Kevin Cochrane, former CMO at Day Software and now vice president of enterprise solutions and product marketing at Adobe says customers are looking for this type of package to give them a competitive advantage.
"Businesses and government agencies are struggling to build and sustain loyalty with savvy, digitally immersed customers and constituents who demand relevant, consistent experiences tailored to who they are, where they are, their device of choice, and their history with the organization," Cochrane said.
This solution incorporates a number of tools including Adobe Air, the Flash Player and Adobe Reader (for PDFs), as well as the Adobe Online Marketing Suite and Flex and Flash application building tools. A number of these tools were formerly in Adobe LiveCycle and CRX.
As we reported earlier this month, Forrester Research recently released a report that predicts customer experience management will play an increasingly critical role in web content management.
Adobe has announced that 60-day trials are available immediately with packages tailored for web, mobile and applications developers.
