This isn't exactly earth-shattering news, but we will continue to see more and more user-generated content in 2009. This could put more pressure on content management systems and could also present more opportunities to expand existing customer locations and develop new ones.

8. Enterprise users look to use Web 2.0 tools more effectively

Tools like Twitter and Facebook continue to transform the web. It only makes sense that these tools or similar ones will have an impact on the enterprise as well. ECM vendors were all over Web 2.0 functionality in 2008, but it seems clear that companies are still unsure how to deal with it. Perhaps Obama's successful use of Web 2.0 tools will push enterprise users to understand how to use these tools more effectively.
